Verify that all sub-framing steel, aluminum mullions, and structural supports align within ±1.5 mm of the engineering datum line before placing panels.

Span deflection assessment

Calculate maximum unsupported spans under localized dead load and wind pressure to ensure framing spacing conforms to ASTM guidelines.

Dissimilar metal isolation

Apply dielectric neoprene tape, EPDM gaskets, or inert barrier coatings wherever aluminum or galvanized mesh contacts raw structural carbon steel.

Surface plane planar check

Use laser levels or tension wires across every 3-meter frame interval to eliminate face distortion and oil canning across adjacent panels.
