Industrial Checkered Plate
Heavy-duty traction for demanding surfaces
Our safety tread program encompasses two engineered families: raised-pattern checkered plate (diamond, two-bar, or five-bar ridges rolled directly into the plate surface for heavy-duty multi-directional grip) and perforated anti-slip plate (sheet metal punched into raised fish-eye or crocodile-mouth openings to combine high-traction footing with rapid drainage and ventilation). Both solutions deliver dependable slip resistance and structural durability across industrial walkways, access platforms, vehicle running boards, and hazardous stairways.
- Cold or hot rolled uniform traction surface
- Multi-directional anti-slip traction; slip resistance confirmed per project
- Processing options can be coordinated through selected in-house production or partner factories, subject to project requirements and confirmation.

Standard checkered and anti-slip plate profiles
Select matching surface profiles engineered for specific grip ratings, fluid drainage, and industrial load requirements—spanning rolled raised-pattern ridges (two-bar, five-bar, diamond) and punched perforated anti-slip plates (fish-eye and crocodile-mouth openings).

Applicable standards
Listed as reference standards only, never certificates held by MutualMetal. The applicable standard, material grade, and documentation are confirmed per product and project.
GB/T 33974, ASTM A786/A786M, and DIN 59220 cover hot-rolled patterned steel plate with different pattern designations and units; ASTM B632/B632M covers aluminum alloy tread plate. Punched anti-slip profile plates (such as fish-eye and crocodile-mouth profiles) are punched/formed sheets outside these hot-rolled standards. Slip resistance is confirmed per project.
