Plaster Mesh

Plaster mesh is used for both indoor and outdoor decoration, particularly in plastering work. It helps prevent cracks in the plaster layer and makes it stronger. Plaster mesh improves the bond between plaster and walls, acting as a framework for the plaster and putty, which boosts the durability and lifespan of the plaster layer. Additionally, plaster mesh is useful for reinforcing building foundations, restoring existing plaster and brickwork, installing thermal insulation and roofing tiles, and laying roads. We offer various types of plaster mesh, including plastic mesh, fiberglass mesh, welded wire mesh, chain wire mesh, chicken wire, light expanded metal, and woven wire cloth. All of these meshes have small squares and are made from thin wire, so you can choose the right one to meet your specific needs.

Light Type Expanded Metal

No bent and welded seams, light expanded metal greatly increases the strength and durability at a very low weight. Because its rough surface, it combines well with putty, plaster and waterproofing materials, ensuring high quality and durable plastering coatings for walls and ceilings.

Welded Stucco Mesh

Welded stucco mesh is performed by welding of mild heat treated wire with or with out zinc coating, helping the plaster layer of shrinkage walls avoid cracking. With the feature of high resistance to corrosion, galvanized mesh is more durable.

Diamond Metal Lath

Diamond mesh lath is a diamond-shaped metal mesh made by stamping and expanding galvanized steel sheets. It features a rigid structure and excellent crack resistance, commonly used as a base for plaster applications and suitable for various wall surfaces such as concrete, gypsum, and wood substrates.

Rib Lath

Rib lath is an expanded metal mesh with V-shaped reinforcing ribs, typically made of galvanized or stainless steel. It offers high structural rigidity and excellent load-bearing capacity, making it an ideal base material for plastering walls, ceilings, and other surfaces. It is suitable for both interior and exterior construction projects.

Block Work Mesh

Block work mesh is an expanded metal mesh used for crack prevention and reinforcement in masonry structures. Commonly available in strip or coil form, it offers excellent ductility and corrosion resistance. It is widely applied in concrete works such as brick walls, floors, tunnels, and swimming pools to enhance structural strength and durability.

Mesh plastering easily handled and mounted on brick, plaster, concrete, wood and even embossed surfaces. Plastic and fiberglass mesh is fixed to the target surface often by adhesive, or base construction stapler. Metal mesh was fixed to a wall surface often using nails, screws and metal sheet piece.

All of our plater mesh is delivered in rolls and can have different sizes. You can contact us to buy plaster metal mesh in wholesale and retail. We will give you an extensive range of products at competitive prices, and the price depends on the materials, mesh size and the presence of the galvanized layer.

Selection of Plaster Mesh

When choose plaster mesh , you must take into account its physical and mechanical properties, as well as the purpose. For example, fiberglass cloth for the exterior surface plastering need mesh density of 160 to 300g/sq.m. Expanded metal with rhombic shape mesh hole is successfully applied during underfloor heating installation and holding plastering well. Galvanized plaster metal mesh has high resistance to corrosion. Using galvanized mesh for plaster finishing work can significantly extend the life of the premises.
When using for plastering, plaster layer and the reinforcing metal layer have different thermal expansion coefficient. Therefore, subject to extreme changes in temperature, chicken wire (durable twisted woven mesh) is more acceptable for plastering than welded wire mesh or expanded metal. It has no risk of injury at work. Chicken wire plaster mesh made from 0.6 – 2.0mm wire, mesh size from 13mm to 50mm.
